Fir Screen Door
This screen door was built from douglas fir for its stability and rot resistance. The construction is similar to a conventional door at 1 ⅜ thick, using all traditional stepped mortise and tenon joinery with two floating bottom panels. The jamb and door stop was milled from one solid piece of stock to ensure strength, as well as give a seamless look. The door was installed on site by Mitchell Builds with a trimless jamb. Solid brass hardware and strong Milesi exterior finish should stand up to the test of time and the elements.
