Joy’s Slat Wall

Constructed from western red cedar, this slat wall was built to serve two purposes. It needed to diffuse wind coming up the hillside, and create a more intimate front porch setting with some added privacy. Planned reveals on all of the components as well as slim dimensions help give the wall a light and airy look. The client wanted to have the wall installed raw with no finish, so it will patina nicely over time.
